About Growth Street

We realized that great businesses are struggling to access the working capital £they need from traditional lenders like major banks and building societies. At Growth Street we offer business loans to UK based businesses.

Our mission is to give small and medium-sized enterprises the tools and financial backing they need to grow. We are a diverse team ready to assist you. Be Curious, Be in Sync and Beat Expectations are our core values.

Unlock cash

For many UK businesses, cash flow problems are the main reason for worries. The key to operating a successful, sustainable business is the management of cash. But it is not always such an easy task.

Growth line was designed to address this problem. We offer a revolving credit facility that allows your business to unlock cash tied up in your stock and unpaid invoices. Businesses of all shapes and sizes across all industries have working capital tied up in assets.

Grow your business

You will have access to a line of credit that works much the same as an overdraft. Once you receive your credit limit, you can withdraw funds and make repayments as often as you like every month.

Fuel for a growing business is to deliver on your plans for growth. This is why you need a good cash flow and access to funds to grow your business. We assist small and medium-sized enterprises.

Growth Street Services

We offer our borrowers access to a limit between £25k and £1 million. We use the assets of your business to work out exactly how much credit we can offer you.

The rates at which we can lend against those assets will then be agreed upon. Once we establish the value of a customer’s assets, and we’ve agreed on the rates, we will be closer to understanding what Growthline limit we will be able to offer.

Which businesses are eligible

  • You need to be a registered business based in the United Kingdom
  • The majority of business directors and shareholders need to be UK residents
  • The business needs to be trading for at least 15 months.
  • We adhere to strict moral standards and there are some sectors we do not borrow to, including but not limited to political parties, adult entertainment, military weaponry, and crowdfunding. The full list of businesses we do not support is available on our website.

The application process

The first step when applying for a loan is to complete the online loan application. This allows us to get to know you and your business better. We will need all the basic information of your business, names, contact details as well as your profit and revenue for the past 12 months.

To review your business financial history, you will need to upload your last full filed company accounts as well as bank statements and 15 months of management accounts. Using the information, you provided, we will make a credit decision on your application. This will include the limit of the loan we can offer as well as the interest rate.

Our one goal is to give business owners the confidence to invest in growth

When it comes to cash flow it can be difficult, especially as your business grows. Your cash may be tied up in stock or payments on outstanding invoices have become unpredictable.

While you may struggle with your cash flow, staff still needs to get paid, you may need new stock or equipment. We realize it is common for most businesses to face these types of challenges. This is why we can help you.

Inconsistent payment terms from your customers

A common way for businesses to transact with one another is through invoices. But this can tie up much-needed cash and sometimes your customers do not pay according to the terms you agreed upon.

Cash is needed to grow and sustain your business, and having multiple outstanding invoices can badly affect your cash flow. GrowthLine offers a simple, flexible solution to cover your costs until your invoices get paid.

Investment in equipment and fixed assets

As a business grows, the need for additional equipment and other fixed assets will arise. This may include office furniture, computers, industrial equipment like forklifts or protective uniforms. It all depends on the kind of business you operate.

GrowthLine can help you access a business loan when you need to make these purchases. This will allow you to focus on running and growing your business without worrying about your cash flow.

Significant amounts held in stock

Some businesses will hold a large amount of stock in reserve to satisfy customer demand. As most of the assets are tied up in stock, these businesses can often experience a lack of available cash. Seasonality may affect the speed at which your stock is sold or any other unpredictable circumstances.

GrowthLine has helped many business owners who are in a tight cash flow situation by unlocking the working capital. If you are in a similar position, where your cash is tied up in stock, we can help you.
